Defense Ceremony of Timpy

Timpy graduated as an Erasmus Mundus scholar from European joint masters degree in Environmental contamination and toxicology. She was working with plastic additives as molecular clocks. Her master thesis work has focused on assessing photochemical degradation of plastic additives to estimate the lifetime of plastic in sunlit marine environments. This work helped her about both method development, photochemical processes and analysing the additives by liquid chromatography- mass spectrometry.
The defense was held at Plentzia marine station in Spain. The defense was chaired by Prof. Nathalie Geneste (University of Bordeaux, France). The committed members were Dr.Nagore Prieto (University of Basque Country, Spain), and Dr. Ainara Gredilla (University of Basque Country, Spain).
